Concipio > Evaluation process

Concipio’09 will consist of two rounds. The first round is a preliminary round which will be followed by the mentoring session. The b-plan will then be submitted to the judges via e-mail. The final round will take place during the summit and will include presentations of the plan by each of the selected teams.

For the preliminary round, the teams are required to submit the executive summaries through e-mail in PDF format. These summaries will be judged by the professors of IIT Kharagpur. The executive summary shall discuss the business idea, the target market and the technical feasibility of their plan. The summary should not exceed 700 words.

The mentorship period is of 30 days. This phase will help participants enrich their idea and give a sound backbone to their b-plans. This training will be provided by professors of the institute, venture capitalists and distinguished personalities from the business institutions and corporate world. Each team will be assigned a single mentor. The mentoring process will involve online correspondence of the selected entries with their mentors via e-mail.

Submission of the B-plan: The final plan is to be submitted to the judges online via e-mail, after the mentorship is over.

The third round shall comprise of the final presentation of the b-plan by the participants. The participants will be given a time of 15 minutes to present their b-plan which will be followed by a 10 minute question-answer session with the judges. Judges will include TePP members, TIETS members, Professors from related fields, Venture Capitalists and other individuals from the corporate world.
