Dominique Trempont Mr. Trempont is currently a member of the Board of Directors and Audit Committee of Finisar Corporation, a position he has held since September 2005. Finisar is a public company that develops and markets optical components and modules for network equipment vendors, instruments and software for communications designers and products and services for large enterprise storage networks. Mr. Trempont also serves on the Board of Directors, and Chairs the Audit Committee, of Energy Recovery, Inc., a public company that helps water desalination plants recycle energy used in the desalination process. Mr. Trempont was CEO-in-Residence at Battery Ventures, a venture capital firm, from September 2003 to September 2005. Prior to Battery Ventures, Mr. Trempont was Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Kanisa, Inc., a software company focused on customer self-service, contact center and peer support applications, from May 1999 to November 2002. Mr. Trempont has served as Chief Executive Officer of Gemplus Corporation, a smart card application company, and Chief Financial Officer at NeXT Software. Mr. Trempont began his career at Raychem Corporation, a high-tech material science company focused on the telecommunication, electronics and automotive industries, including holding the position of Chief Audit Officer. Mr. Trempont received an undergraduate degree in Economics from College St. Louis (Belgium), a bachelor's in Business Administration and Computer Sciences from IAG at the University of Louvain (Belgium) and a master's in Business Administration from INSEAD.
Sramana Mitra Sramana Mitra has been an entrepreneur and a strategy consultant in Silicon Valley since 1994. Her fields of experience span from hard core technology disciplines like semiconductors to sophisticated consumer marketing industries including fashion and education. Her current focus, however, is primarily in the realms of Web 3.0 and Enterprise 3.0, and related infrastructure. She has a particular interest in Media and Retail companies and their transition to a Web-centric world.
Sanjeev Bhikchandani An inspiration for all young entrepreneurs in India, Sanjeev Bhikchandani is the Co-founder and CEO of Naukri.com, India’s largest web based employment site. An alumnus of India’s Hravard, IIM-A,Sanjeev worked in reputed organizations like Lintas India Ltd and Smithkline Beecham before he went on to launch Naukri.com in 1997. Today, his company Infoedge ( India) limited of which Naukri.com is a division, is the biggest web player in India , wildly profitable, with incremental revenues adding 90% to the bottomline and cash reserves exceeding 350 crores INR. Naukri.com when Sanjeev started out with just ten people has now go on to become a job portal that receives 8-10 thousand resumes in a day and places 7-10 lakh people cutting across all disciplines in a year. Infoedge India has now diversified into real estate with the site 99acres.com and has launched a Middle east specific matrimonial site as well. Sanjeev has been featured in the widely acclaimed book “ Stay hungry and Stay foolish” by Rashmi Bansal about 25 IIM-A alumni who by treading into the once unchartered territory of entrepreneurship have go on to become hugely successful. Sanjeev, today apart from looking after the the affairs of his company is actively involved in promoting the entrepreneurial spirit among the country’s youth at various public forums, seminars, lectures and interactive sessions at the IIT’S and premier B schools in our country. Vivek De is an Intel Fellow and Director of Circuit Technology Research in Intel's Circuits Research Lab (CRL). He provides strategic direction for future circuit technologies and is responsible for aligning CRL's circuit research with technology scaling challenges. He has published 151 technical papers in refered conferences and journals, and 6 book chapters in the areas of low power and high performance circuits. He holds 129 patents, with 64 more patents filed (pending). Vivek received his Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras, India in 1985 and his Master's degree in electrical engineering from Duke University, Durham, North Carolina in 1986. He received a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), Troy, New York in 1992.
