E-Cell has undertaken this massive initiative to promote entrepreneurship and encourage students across the country to embrace the concept of starting one's own enterprise. Starting from Chandigarh, E-Cell IIT Kharagpur conducted a workshop,termed Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp (EAC), each in 10 selected cities in a time span of 10 days. A renowned college in each city helped us traverse the length and breadth of the country. Each EAC included a successful entrepreneur speaking about their entrepreneurial experiences and the joys and hardships of their journey to success. From the Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2008 to the Founder and President of Association of Lady Entrepreneurs in Andhra Pradesh, EAD witnessed the most varied set of entrepreneurial gurus. Times Private Treaties and The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) joined hands with E-Cell in making EAD a big success. Watch out for EAD 2010 !!
