Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Kharagpur brings to all you first years a new Initiative, "The Innovation Platform" aimed at nurturing innovation at the grassroots level. Innovation platform is an organised group of selected first year students getting together to discuss each other’s ideas and help build it into something feasible, something solid through Brainstorming Sessions, Mentor-ship Opportunities, Seed Funding and Networking
Under this initiative, an IIT Kharagpur student will be trained and well facilitated to refine his idea and receives help to convert into a sustainable business model through

- Avenue for showcasing their product to attract buyers

How to Apply
1) Download the form and Fill in :
It has cases related to 5 different categories - Web & IT, Social, Services, Product Based and Miscellaneous. You have to submit your ideas under 1 of these categories.
2) Multiple ideas under the same category are permitted. Just number those ideas as 1, 2 and so on in the same text field provided to you in that category.
3) You can submit more than one idea in single/multiple categories as well.But giving the same idea in multiple categories will lead to cancellation of your form. So even if your idea falls in more than one category, choose the category which you feel is best suited to for your idea.
4) For submitting the form, attach the filled pdf form and mail it to ip@ecell-iitkgp.org .
The subject of the mail should me “[Your full name] Form : Innovation Platform”
5) The last date for submitting the form is 1st April, 2012 (Sunday).
